Why switch to LED lighting?

Why switch to LED lighting?

Led Light

1. They consume much less energy and last much longer
2. They generate less heat, therefore the energy consumption is also decreased
3. By reducing the amount of energy used, they respect the environment
4. You can reduce the power of electricity subscribed.

LED LIGHTING HAS A LONG LIFE OF USEFUL LIFE:

LED bulbs do not contain filaments or other fragile mechanical parts that could be damaged.
They do not stop working suddenly, but degradation is gradual throughout its life. The useful life of the chip (or chip) LED is considered to be between 30,000 and 40,000 hours. After its brightness drops below 70% of its original power.
Unlike incandescent bulbs of 50 Watts that last between 1000 and 2000 hours (about 1 or 2 years), LED bulbs can last more than 35,000 hours. (35 times more than incandescent, 15-20 times more than halogen and 5-7 times more than the energy-saving bulb).
An LED bulb used 12 hours a day can last more than 7 years. Used 8 hours a day, it can last up to 11 years.
The useful life of LEDs double that of typical fluorescent bulbs and is ten times that of incandescent bulbs.
An incandescent bulb loses 85% of its energy in heat; only 15% is transformed into light. For example, a halogen bulb that consumes 50W, uses 45W in the form of heat, implying additional costs in air conditioning (25W are necessary to offset the heat produced by this bulb).
With LED lighting, 90% of the energy consumed turns into light and only 10% into heat.
In short, by using less energy and being more efficient, LEDs emit little heat.

LED LIGHTING IS VERY LOW CONSUMPTION:

LED bulbs consume 3 times less than conventional low energy bulbs and 9 times less than incandescent bulbs. This results in great savings and a quick amortization of the initial investment.

The luminous efficiency of LEDs is around 90 lumens per watt in the laboratory. We managed to get 150 lumens per watt. The luminous efficiency of a halogen is only 20 to 25 lumens per watt.

LED LIGHTING GENERATES many impacts ON THE ENVIRONMENT:

LED bulbs are completely recyclable and environmentally friendly: they contain no mercury or other toxic materials, unlike fluorescent lamps. On the other hand, their long service life saves on raw materials. To equal the life of an LED bulb, it is necessary to make 20 incandescent bulbs.
By switching your lighting to LEDs, you will see the savings on your electricity bill
There are 2 things that make LED lighting considered the most eco-friendly and eco-friendly option of the environment:

1. Low energy consumption2. Long service life of LED bulbs

LED BULBS NEED LESS MAINTENANCE:

Due to its long service life, the frequency and maintenance costs are significantly reduced, especially in hard to reach locations.
LED LIGHTING CAN BE POWERED AT 12 AND 24V
It also reduces the risk of electrocution.

LED BULBS HAVE INSTANT IGNITION:

It is turned on and off in an instant, and unlike other systems, frequent ignition does not result in degradation of the device. Very useful for motion detection or pressure ignition systems.
Some models are variable in light intensity such as adjustable or dimmable bulbs. This allows the creation of different atmospheres and reduces even more energy consumption.

LED LIGHTING DOES NOT EMIT UV (ULTRAVIOLET) RAYS:

Due to low UV and infrared emissions, LEDs are ideal for illuminating heat sensitive materials. On the other hand, the absence of UV reduces the appeal of insects for light.
